Utica Area Manufacturer Receives State Pollution Prevention Award
The New York State Pollution Prevention Institute, housed at Rochester Institute of Technology, will give its first P2 Achievement Award to Sumax Cycle Products. The company will be honored for its efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce hazardous materials in its production processes and for its pollution prevention partnership with the Mohawk Valley Applied Technology Corporation. October 2008 NYSP2I Workshops at RIT: LE2 & Surface Cleaning
NYSP2I hosted two workshops at RIT: LE2 (October 27) and Surface Cleaning (October 29). Twenty attendees representing 15 New York State companies and organizations learned new tools during presentations, exchanged ideas in discussions, and observed demonstrations in several of RITs testbeds.
